     Description                                                      

The QUV simulates the effect of sunlight with fluorescent ultraviolet (UV) lamps, while it simulates rain and dew with condensing humidity or water spray.In a few days or weeks, the QUV can reproduce the damage that occurs over months or years outdoors. Types of damage include fading, color change, chalking, cracking, crazing, embrittlement, strength loss etc. 
　　The test data can help in the selection of new materials, the improvement of existing materials or the evaluation of how changes in formulations affect product durability.

The QUV tester can easily accommodate up to 48 specimen (75mm x 150mm), which is fully conform to international, national and industrial specifications, and the reliability and repeatability of the test procedures can be ensured.
