This instrument is designed to measure the creep and stress relaxation of plastic material under temperature from 0℃ to 150℃.
A) With a specified temperature, preload a given stroke (0 to 30mm) to the specimen. Then, compress the specimen under a constant stroke for a period for time. Meanwhile, measure and record the change in force and time.
B) With a specified temperature, preload a given force (0 to 10kN) to the specimen. Then, compress the specimen under a constant force for a period of time. Meanwhile, measure and record the change in stroke and time.
